THE BLACK WIDOW 160 Racquetball Racquet
The best indicator as to whether a new racquet is great is
when pro’s switch mid season when the new frames are released. At the Ektelon Nationals in May top ranked
pros, Rocky Carson, Ben Croft, Shane Vanderson & Cliff Swain all switched
to the new line with the INNEGRA technology just weeks after getting the new
racquets and just weeks before the 2nd biggest tournament of the
year. This says it all about the new
technology or the players would wait until after the season as there are too
many ranking points and too much money on the line.
This year again, the number 2 player in the world, Rocky
Carson has chosen the lighter model. The
Black Widow 160 is great for compact fast swing speeds & that’s exactly
what Rocky has. It’s head heavy so it
doesn’t give up power at this weight and is very easy to get from the top of
the swing to the ball.
If Rocky can return balls coming at him at nearly 200 mph
with a 160g frame, it’s good for any level.
